Ed Sheeran released his third album Divide on Friday, March 3, and within hours it had won over Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto.
The album, which features singles Castle on the Hill and Shape of You, follows earlier number one records Plus and Multiply, and is expected to top the charts in many countries.
Divide
is available in a deluxe edition format which includes a bonus track
called Barcelona - causing Roberto to share a screenshot of his music
app playing the song in question.
The
Sheeran bonus track does not feature mention of the Camp Nou club, but
is focused on the city itself, including the lyrics "Come on, let's be
free in Barcelona / Las Ramblas, I'll meet you / Come on and dance with
me in Barcelona."
Roberto
has been a regular part of Luis Enrique's squad this season, starting
17 La Liga games for Barcelona and coming off the bench in four more
matches.
Barcelona currently lead the table by a single point from Real Madrid, but have played one more game than their title rivals.
