Man waves at surveillance camera after covering his number plates

A bizarre video has emerged China of a man waving at a surveillance camera after he covered his number plates and reversed to reach a junction.

The CCTV footage, filmed in Luoyang, Henan Province on Wednesday, shows a man getting out of a vehicle from the passenger seat and walking toward the front to cover the licence plate.

Then, he can then be seen walking towards the back of the car where he directs the vehicle to reverse.

Before he gets on the vehicle to leave, he waves his hand at the surveillance camera.

The driver was reportedly stripped of his driving license and fined by police.
